Steps to put pictures on the Honda Display

The built-in Honda i-MID display is almost made for personalizing, as its glossy screen will quickly become one of your favorite features. For those who are on the road frequently, it’s comforting to bring some of our favorite photos with us. You can glance through them on your lunch break or show them to family members. This said, it’s not at hard to upload, you just need to have the i-Mid display.

  1. Put desired photos on a USB flashdrive to transfer to your model’s system. Giving pictures specific file names will help you locate them better on your infotainment system.
  2. Plug the drive into the Honda USB port, located in the center console or near the cup holders.
  3. Turn your car on. It does not need to be running, but should at least be in accessory mode.
  4. Press the menu button on the steering wheel and use the up or down buttons to select “custom settings on the center display. Press the source button to select and then select “Display setup” in the same way.
  5. Find “Import Wallpaper” and select by once again pressing the “source” button. Now you can select from your images by pressing the up and down button. Once again press “source” to select a photo.
  6. The picture may take a few seconds to load, but once it appears you will again press “source” to save the image. You will be asked where to save the image. Save it to “image 1” and press source once more. Back out of the menu by hitting the back button or left arrow on the steering wheel.
  7. Scroll to “Select Wallpaper” and pick “image 1.” Hit “source” once more to select, then press the Menu button on your steering wheel to exit your settings. The image should become your main display.
